Good clothing cannot be hurried. We take the time each garment needs — and tell you the timeline at your first consultation.
An unhurried hour, by appointment.
Your first visit usually takes sixty to ninety minutes — time to choose cloth, settle the details and be measured properly, with refreshments and no rush.
A private fitting
A quiet, comfortable room of your own to be measured and advised in.
A personal guide
We learn your lifestyle, work and wardrobe before we steer you to the right cloth and cut.
Every detail considered
From the number of buttons to the pocket and lining — nothing is left to chance.
Construction, your choice
Half or fully-canvassed jackets — and full hand-stitching for the true aficionado, where time allows.
Consultation
We talk through the occasion, your lifestyle and your taste — then guide you on cloth and cut. There is no rush and no obligation; the right garment starts with the right conversation.
Measurement & pattern
Your measurements are taken with care, and your own pattern is drafted from them — not pulled from a standard block. That pattern is the reason the fit is yours alone.
Cutting & making
The cloth is hand-cut to your pattern, machine-sewn and hand-finished — collar, cuffs, buttonholes and all. This is where care shows, in the details no one is meant to notice.
Fittings
Two or three trials are standard — we adjust on you, not on a guess, until the balance, length and line are exactly right. The fit is never assumed; it is earned at the mirror.
Delivery
You take home the finished garment — and we keep your pattern on file. The next time, a repeat order is simple: the hard work is already done, and the fit is already yours.
